Our general waste bins have weight limits as follow: 3m3 – 500kg, 6m3 – 1000kg, 9m3 – 1500kg. Hardfill products like bricks and soil can weigh in excess of 1000kg per cubic meter which can easily cause the bin to go overweight. Bins weighing over specified limits are charged at 20 cents per kilogram ($200 / tonne)

Our green waste bins have the same weight limits as the general waste bins. Bin weighing over the limits are charged at 12 cents per kilogram ($120/tonne)

There are no weight limits on a hardfill

Skip bins should not be any higher than level with the top edge. This is a NZTA requirement for transporting the bins safely.

No, we just need clear instructions where you would like the bin placed. We will leave a copy of our terms and conditions onsite and a copy will also be made available when booking the bin.

What do I do with hazardous materials?

You cannot put any hazardous waste into the skip bins. To dispose of these you need to contact your local council. Hazardous chemicals include Asbestos, Solvents, Paints, Acids, Laboratory Waste, Oils, Grease traps etc.

You can keep the bag for as long as you want after purchasing. You might even want to store it in your cupboard for a while. Once you have filled your Purpose Bag and are ready for collection give us a call or book online.

Did you know you can move your bag around your property as long as you don’t overfill it at the start. Final position should be where our truck can get to. 

Remember not to place under trees or powerlines. 

We will do our best to get it to you as fast as possible. We sometimes even do same day deliveries. If you live a bit further out from our depot in Hamilton, the bag should be with you in 3 days.

Once you have booked a collection we’ll collect your bag within 1-5 business days. 

For example, if you contacted us on Monday, your bag could be collected anytime that week. However, delays do happen from time to time.

If you require an urgent collection, call us and we will find a solution for you.

Yes, we do accept mattresses. Our bag is big enough to fit a queen size mattress. 

Make sure the mattress is not on top of your rubbish. If the bag is overfilled we might need to leave your mattress behind. 

Did you know that the weight of a giraffe is around 700 – 800 kg? That shows 750kg is heaps! As long as you don’t fill your bag with lots of dirt and concrete you are more likely below the limit.

If your bag is over the weight limit, our team might not be able to collect it.

We will need to leave your bag at your property till you have removed some of the rubbish and content. Unfortunately you will be charged a service fee for the time we spent coming out.

If you think your bag might be overweight, please contact us before the collection so we can find a solution for you.

Yes, simply book how many collections you need and we remove them all at once.

Our Purpose Bag can be left outside.  The bag is designed to let water seep out. 

However, It’s always best to let it dry after heavy rain or even better, put a tarp over your bag to keep it dry and light. 

No. Unfortunately our Purpose Bag is a single use product. However we are working hard on finding a local recycling solution. Stay tuned for some updates soon.
