When our dedicated drivers collect your waste and bring it back to our Recycling Yard, we painstakingly separate it into categories!
We recycle treated and untreated timber, cardboard, metal, gib plasterboard, green waste, tyres and hardfill.
We operate a a dedicated plant in our Recycling Yard, and a team of digger operators and picking staff ensure as much as possible is diverted from Landfill.

● Treated timber is transported to Golden Bay Cement in Auckland and incinerated responsibly to power the plant. Golden Bay has reduced the use of fossil fuels and coal by 50% by incinerating construction waste and tyres.
Any residue from the furnace is disposed of in an appropriate manner.
● Untreated timber travels to a local operator where pallets in poor condition are chipped and made into calf bedding. Pallets that are still in good condition are sold back to businesses to re-use. Hundreds of tonnes of untreated wood waste is diverted from Landfill every week!
● Cardboard is transported to a Paper Mill for recycling into boxes and paper.
● All metal is recycled by a large metal recycling company who specialize in ferrous and non-ferrous recycling and support many countries in the South Pacific with exporting their waste streams and recyclables to various destinations.
● Gib Plasterboard is recycled  into a nutrient-rich soil amendment that helps improve soil structure, drainage, and plant health for farmers.
It can loosen dense soil structures to provide better drainage and aeration.
● Green Waste is processed into compost, soil and garden products and distributed.
