Involve an extra fee :

⚠️Asbestos:  proper handling and disposal of asbestos require specialized services and may involve an extra fee.

⚠️Tyres: disposing of tyres in skip bins may incur an additional cost. It is recommended to check with waste management services for proper disposal options.

One cubic meter is roughly equivalent to a small box trailer load. A 9 cubic meter bin is the most common size.

Each product would have an example of how many standard bins \ trailer loads it equals to .

Our general waste bins have weight limits as follows: 3m3 – 500kg, 6m3 – 1000kg, and 9m3 – 1500kg. Hardfill products like bricks and soil can weigh more than 1000kg per cubic meter which can easily cause the bin to go overweight. Bins weighing over specified limits are charged at 20 cents per kilogram ($200 / tonne)

We add delivery charges to towns outside of Hamilton. You can check our prices on the bookings page. Extra charges can apply if hire term is extended, the bin is overweight or extra items like car tyres are required to be picked up also.

All bins must be paid for on or before delivery. You can book online via credit card, via bank transfer or cash on delivery.

Our standard hire term is 6 nights. Extra time can be purchased at $10 per day. If you need the bin longer than expected, please advise us as early as possible by calling us on 0800 50 10 20. We will do our best to work with you.

You cannot put any hazardous waste into the skip bins. To dispose of these you need to contact your local council. Hazardous chemicals include Asbestos, Solvents, Paints, Acids, Laboratory Waste, Oils, Grease traps etc.

Skip bins should not be any higher than level with the top edge. This is a NZTA requirement for transporting the bins safely.
